Mild depression is a common emotional disorder. It may be manifested in varying degrees from feelings of slight sadness to utter misery and dejection. Depression being an emotional/mental condition is far more difficult to cope with than a physical ailment. The growing complexities of modern life and the continuing state of being in a crisis creates a mental stress and strain that can lead to this condition. Long periods of anxiety and tension can also cause mental depressions.
The clearest symptoms of depression are acute sense of loss, inexplicable sadness, loss of energy , lack of interest in the world and fatigue. Additional symptoms can include a loss of appetite, itching, nausea, irritability, impotence or frigidity, constipation, aches and pains over the body, lack of concentration and indecisiveness. Server depression can result in lower blood pressure, lower body temperature and shivering.
In most cases, nutritional deficiencies are the foundation of the condition and require immediate attention. Thankfully, there are many herbal medicines for improving the mood and overcoming mild depression.
